Tokyo Disney land was opened in 1983. It was first time that Disney Resort was opened out of America. TDL has 510000㎡ area and since now, 0ver 25000000 tourists visited it.
It was named Tokyo. But in fact,it is on Urayasu city in Chiba prefecture next to Tokyo.
The most difference point from other Disney Lands is that the symbol is Cinderella castle not Sleeping Beauty.
TDL is diveded into 7 areas. World bazzar, Adventure Land(uncharted world), Western Land(American frontier age), Critter country(small animal world), Fantasy Town(fairy tale world), Toon Land(Mickey Mouse's and his freind's hometown), and Future town(SF world once people imagined).
Each of them show us different faces. We can enjoy many attractions there. And we can often see many disney characters are walking, taken photos with tourists, and parading.
They are regarded as living in TDL, and their positions and times are directed strictry. So we won't see same character at same time or different places.
The most famous attraction is Electrical Parade. Every night millions of lights shine and the line of parade is over700m. Many tourists don't go back to home without watching it.
There are Tokyo Disney Sea(TDS) next to TDL. It was opened 2001. Compared with TDL, it has many attractions for adult and use much more water. If we bored TDL, we can enjoy TDS. Some people book Disney Hotel and visit both by spending a few days.
2011 the earthquake damaged Disney Resort. Parking lots was liquefy. They had to close for about a month.Then staffs helped visitors in many ways. Visitors praised them. Staffs are famous for thieir high trained customer service skills. they are not just parttime job. Now the damages were repaired.
