一如観音
妙法蓮華経にある一節によると、雲や雷、稲妻、ヒョウ、大雨を降らしたとしても、観音の力を念ずれば、それに応じて消散するとされています。
一如とは一体という意味があり、雲に乗って空中を飛ぶ姿で描かれており、空にかかわる災害から救ってくださる観音さまです。
Kannon (Boddhisattva)
According to a verse in the Myōhō Rengekyō, even clouds, thunder, lightning, panthers, and heavy rainfall will dissipate accordingly if one remembers the power of Kannon.
The image of Kannon is depicted as flying in the air on clouds, saving us from sky-related disasters.
