馬郎婦観音
魚売りの美しい娘は、結婚の条件として青年たちに法華経の二十八品のすべてを暗誦した者に嫁ぐとし、それを果たした馬氏との結婚当日に急死してしまいます。
実は仏教を広めるために美女に姿を化して現世に登場した観音であり、魚籃観音と同体されています。
娘の由緒を老僧が説き、お墓を開けてみると、 黄金の骨と化していたというなんとも不思議な伝説のある観音様です。
