The grand final of one of the world’s biggest Esports competitions ESR One is being held today in the British city of Birmingham. With more details here’s Andrew Rodgers: For fans of the multi-player battle arena game Dota2, today’s ESR1 tournament is a big deal (大したこと). It also kicks off (始める) a huge year for Esports in this country that will see some of the most popular global leagues descend on the UK. Building up to the league of legends world series in London this November, which is, by most measures, the biggest Esports event in the world. It’s exciting for fans but it brings great opportunities for businesses, too. The global Esports market is not estimated to be worth more than a billion dollars.
