Australian Prime Minister has issued a formal apology for the thalidomide tragedy 60 years ago calling it one of the darkest chapters in the country’s medical history.

Anthony Albanese says he is speaking on behalf of all the people of Australia as one of the government and parliament.

Here’s Phil Marsa: The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is addressing federal parliament a few hours ago saying that those thalidomide survivors who’d endured bullying , trauma, and rejection were warriors (戦士)
