私のソロリティーの歌にこんなフレーズがあるの。
Sisterhood, it's the bond we share..
そう、ソロリティーの目的の１つは『Sisterhood』。
私達はお互いのことを“Sister”って呼んだり、“Soror”って呼んだりするんだ。んで、自分と一緒にメンバーになったSister達を“Line sister”って呼ぶの。
私は自分を含めて７人の子達と現在所属してるメンバーになることができたの
そして今日、私のLine sistersである７人の内の1人からこんなメールが届いた

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!!!! I miss you soo much! We havent actually spoken in a while--u know me lol--but I just wanted to send u a message from the heart.
When told us you had to move back to Japan I cried. Not only because you would be so far away, but also because there was nothing I could do to help you. I even called the national immigration office! lol I've always felt it was my responsibility to protect my sisters and help them in any capacity I can, and since there was nothing I could do it really hurt me. Thats why I could barely stand to even talk to you for so long. But I see how well you're doing now so I know all things happen for a reason.
I am so proud of you and TJ! You've been in love through so much together and he is an AMAZING man, as you know! Can I PLEAASE come to the wedding??! Willie and I have already decided that even if its in Japan, we will save up the money to go! I couldnt miss your big day. :)
I just want to to know that you are loved and missed by all of us. You and your incredible fiance are in my thoughts and prayers always. I love you Eboni, SKEE-WEE!

最後のAmorousっていうのは、Big sisterって呼ばれる日本で言う“先輩”みたいな感覚で、すでに所属しているメンバーからもらうLine nameっていうソロリティーでのニックネームみたいなもの。
私も日本語でいう『勇敢』っていう意味がある言葉をいただきました。
Black sororityに日本人の子がPledgeするなんて周りからしてみれば勇気があることだからさ。

ここで彼は（多分）「A fraternity, now that's a brotherhood. You may forge a lifetime bond.」って言ってるの。
そう、FraternityもしくはSororityで結ばれた結束は一生ものなのです。
話は私のLine sisterの話に戻って、今回こういった内容のメールをもらって本当に嬉しかったし、ソロリティーに入ってよかったって思った。
