Slovakia-born Ferko, 19, of Athlestan Road, Margate, was jailed for 40 days after he admitted stealing from the store at Westwood Cross.
Margate magistrates heard that Ferko intended to sell his UGG Bailey Button to buy heroin.
Richard Parkin, prosecuting, said Ferko gave a false name when arrested and was in breach of a conditional discharge imposed by the court earlier this year.
Eleanor Dobson, defending, said her client wanted to get off heroin and did not like being in prison.
