To Cheer Her Up – Chiikawa to the Rescue! 🐻🍟🎉

Last night, while we were sleeping,
my daughter suddenly had a big nosebleed 😨👃💦
This morning, I tried to wash her face,
but she was in a bad mood and refused everything.

She didn’t want to change her clothes,
or to eat breakfast,
or even to go to kindergarten. 😩👧💧

I didn’t know what to do.
But then, my wife—who had to leave early to go to work—gave me an idea:
“Today is the release day for the second Chiikawa Happy Set!
Why don’t you try to take her to McDonald’s?” 🍔✨

So I took my grumpy daughter there,
to make her smile and to give her a reason to feel better.

Chiikawa is super popular,
and sometimes it gets sold out on the first day. 😱
But at 9:30 a.m., it was still available! 🎁🐻
What a relief!

Her mood was boosted instantly, and she smiled again. 😊❤️
And most importantly…
she agreed to go to kindergarten without a fuss! 🎒👏

Picnic, Happy Set, and a Splashy Sunday! 🍔🎁🌳💦

Last Sunday, we had a fun picnic at Ume-kita Park! 🌸🌳
We went to McDonald’s first and bought a Happy Set 🍟🍔

But… the Chiikawa toy had already been sold out! 😱💥
It’s so popular that we couldn’t get it.
Instead, we were given a Minecraft toy—still cool! 🎮✨

We brought our food to the park and relaxed under the sky,
eating hamburgers and fries at our own pace 🍔🍟☀️

After eating, my son ran to the fountain and got completely soaked! 💦😆
He has never been so excited about water before!
Meanwhile, my daughter has stayed calm,
relaxing quietly on the grass, which was soft and sunny 🌾👧🌞

In the evening, we headed to Yodogawa River for some fishing 🎣
But… nothing has been caught again today. 🎣❌
Fishing has continued to be a challenge—but we never give up!

And honestly,
spending a weekend like this with my family has made me feel truly happy.
Taking it slow isn’t so bad after all.
Sometimes, simple days are the ones we remember most. ☀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

He Has Worn His First Karate Uniform! 🥋✨💪

My son has been practicing karate since April 🗓️🥋
But this week, he finally wore his karate uniform for the very first time! 👦✨
It was given to him by the dojo 🏯, and he was so proud to wear it!

He has been invited by a good friend 🤝,
and he has kept going to class once a week 🚗🥋

I haven’t seen his karate practice yet 👀❌
So when he wore the uniform, it was captured only in a photo 📸
Still, it has made me smile to see his happy face 😄💖

And guess what?
My daughter has also joined the class! 👧🎉
She hasn’t been given a uniform yet 🥋❌
but she has been trying hard, copying her brother’s moves 💪🌸

Both of them have been supported by kind teachers and friends 👨‍🏫👧👦
Let’s cheer them on as they continue their karate journey! 📣✨

A Weekend of Fever, Rest, and Laughter 🤒➡️😊

Last weekend, my daughter, who had been excited about the BBQ,
was not able to come because she had a fever. 😢🍖

Later, the fever was passed to me, and I also got sick.
My temperature was made to rise up to 39.6°C! 🌡️
It was a rough night, and the fever made me stay in bed all day.

Luckily, my fever has gone down, and I’m feeling better now.
I have recovered quickly, and I’m almost back to normal. 💪

My daughter, who also had a high fever, has recovered too.
But today, we decided to let her stay home just to be safe. 🏠✨
Her smile has returned, and that makes us feel relieved.

She’s sitting on the couch, watching TV, and smiling.
A funny cartoon made her laugh out loud,
and it felt great to see her happy again. 📺☺️

It was a tough weekend,
but one that reminded us to rest, smile, and take care of each other.

A BBQ Day That Was Filled with Laughter and a Little Sadness 🍖🌥️

Yesterday, a BBQ was held with our children’s friends by the Inagawa River.
Sadly, my daughter, who had a fever, couldn’t come.
She and my wife had to stay home, which made the day feel a little lonely. 😢
She had been looking forward to it, so we were all disappointed.

The BBQ took place at Dragon Land,
which is a riverside park where kids can still play even when it rains. 🐉🏞️
Many families had gathered to enjoy the holiday together.

The children were excited to catch fish and look for insects.
They were smiling and laughing as they stood in the river,
with water up to their waists—not swimming, but happily splashing around. 🐟💦

In one photo, I’m holding a little girl
who is not my daughter—she’s my daughter’s friend.
After I held her once, we have become close friends. 🤗
It was a sweet moment that added warmth to the day.

The sky was cloudy and the wind was cool,
but the kids didn’t mind at all.
They had fun being in nature, getting wet, and laughing with friends.

The last photo was taken at the hospital.

It shows my daughter, who always makes funny faces, even when she’s not feeling well. 📸
She still isn’t 100%,
but I hope she has started to recover.
Next time, we’ll all go together—with smiles, laughter, and no fevers!
