A Rainy Day at Expo Osaka – But Full of Light ✨☔️

Last weekend, we went to Expo Osaka with the whole family! 🎡👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Even though it was covered in rain, we had a lot of fun. ☔️😊

The most memorable spot for me was the Denryoku Pavilion. ⚡️🏛️
There, we played a game using glowing eggs,
but honestly, it was just okay—not bad, not amazing. 🥚🎮
What really stood out was the final light-and-sound performance.
Hundreds of lights, arranged like chandeliers,
were spread across the ceiling, glowing like the Milky Way…
or maybe even like the Northern Lights. 💫🌌✨

My kids were amazed, and my wife was filled with joy.
Smiles were shared all around. 😄❤️

 It was a rainy day,
but it was turned into a memory I’ll never forget.

I definitely want to go again.

Saizeriya – Loved, Packed, and Always Surprising 🍝🍕✨

Recently, a brand-new Saizeriya has opened near our home! 🏠🍝
And honestly… Saizeriya is on another level.
It’s a place known for offering amazing food at unbelievable prices.

I keep asking myself—
how is it cooked so fast? ⏱️🍽️
How is it served so cheap? 💸🍕

The restaurant was packed with families,
and we had to wait with 10 groups ahead of us! 😅⏳
It was a long wait, but worth waiting for.

Actually, it was my son who noticed the new Saizeriya
and started asking to go, simply because he loves it. 👦❤️
As soon as he found out it had opened,
he kept saying, “Let’s go to Saizeriya!”

Once we got in, our meals were brought quickly,
served piping hot and perfectly made. 🤤🔥
My daughter, usually a picky eater,
was seen eating happily, enjoying every bite. 👧🍴💕

Honestly, “cheap, tasty, fast”
feels like it was invented for Saizeriya.

A place loved by kids, visited by many,
and definitely worth going back to.

Beating the Drum, Building the Bond 🥁👦🏮
Since last weekend, my son has started learning the Japanese drum (taiko). 🥁

He is now practicing for our local shrine’s summer festival, guided by kind teachers and surrounded by smiling friends.
This new journey was inspired by a friend inviting him to join.

Having just become an elementary school student,he is making new friendships and being welcomed into the community. 🧒👫🌟
As someone raised in Kanagawa, I don’t live in my hometown anymore.
I’ve moved from place to place, searching for stability and building a life in new towns.

Now, watching my son joining local events and learning traditionshas made me feel truly blessed. 🙏💖It is a chance given to us—a precious one.
I want my children to be connected to this community, growing up rooted in the people and places around them. 🌱🏘️

Not feeling alone. Not being isolated.

But surrounded by familiar faces and supported by kind hands. That’s why this taiko experience is not just practice—it’s a gift filled with meaning. 🎁✨

 To the local neighbors,
to the taiko teachers,
to the friends and their families,
thank you for creating this moment.
We’re truly grateful. 🙏❤️

We’ve Been to Expo Osaka – Rainy but Unforgettable! ☔️🏙️✨

Last weekend, we went to Expo Osaka as a family! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
We arrived at 8:30 a.m. and stayed until after 9:00 p.m. ⏰🌙
By the end, we were completely worn out! 😵💦

It had been raining almost all day,
so it wasn’t easy, but we had a great time together. ☔️😊

We got into 13 pavilions! 🏛️✨
The kids looked more excited at the trampoline-style play area than the pavilions though… haha 😅🛝

At the Denryoku Pavilion,
we were amazed by the harmony of colorful lights. 💡🎶
It was a moment to remember.

Other pavilions were filled with unique ideas and fun displays,
and I think the kids have enjoyed them too. 😄

After 6:00 p.m., the crowd started to thin out,
so we were able to enter the pavilions more smoothly. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
If we go again, I think the evening will be the best time to visit.
In the daytime, it was too crowded, and waiting was hard for the kids.

Most visitors seemed to be older,
and I thought, “Maybe Universal Studios is more exciting for younger people…” 🎢
But honestly, I want to go back again.

We made some great memories, and
I want to make more with my family. ❤️
Even on rainy days, the Great Roof Ring helps you stay dry and enjoy the event! ☂️✨

To Find a Lucky Clover – A Day at Expo Osaka! ☘️✨🏙️

Last weekend, we went to Expo Osaka! 🎡🌍
But before we left home,
we stopped by a park near our house for a quick walk. 🌳

There, my daughter and I found a four-leaf clover together. ☘️👧
It was a sweet moment to start the day with.
We took this photo to remember the happy moment.

Holding the clover made me wonder:
Will something good happen today?

With the lucky clover in our pocket,
we headed to the Expo to enjoy a day full of fun and discovery. 🏞️🚶‍♂️🎡
