「One of the greats of early rock'n'roll, Dwayne Eddy, has died at the age of 86. He'd been diagnosed with cancer. Dwayne Eddie was a pioneer of the twangy guitar sound that inspired future stars including George Harrison and Bruce Springsteen. He enjoyed a series of instrumental hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.」
