2024.03.05のBBC「Midnight News」で次のセンテンスが聴き取れた。
「France has become the first country in the world to protect abortion rights by having them enshrined in the country's constitution. Parliamentarians approved the motion by the necessary 4/5 majority at a special meeting in Versailles this afternoon. French supporters of abortion rights had been alarmed by the United States Supreme Court ruling to end federal protection 2 years ago.」

According to the Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, women's right to abortion should not be taken for granted. Now, in France at least, it was engraved in the marble of the Constitution.」

「Most French voters are in favor of the abortion amendment. There's been no large scale opposition and the Catholic Church limited itself to saying it was saddened by the move. Indeed, the main argument against the revision was that it was superfluous because there is no comparable threat to abortion right in France as there is in the US.」
