英国で；ニホンザルが見つかった？
2024.02.02のBBC「Midnight News」で次のセンテンスが聴き取れた。
「A monkey which has been on the loose in the Highlands since Sunday has been found. The Japanese macaque known as Honshu escaped from the wildlife park at Kingussie near Aviemore. Over the past few days, sightings were reported nearby, yet thermal imaging drones were used to try to locate the animal.」
（日曜日以来、ハイランドで放浪していたサルが発見された。ホンシュウとして知られるニホンザルが、アビモア近くのキンガシーにある野生動物公園から逃げ出した。過去数日間、近くで目撃情報が報告されていたが、動物の位置を特定するために熱画像ドローンが使用されていた。）というもの。

「Honshu, the Japanese macaque, had been on the run since the weekend. He was spotted a couple of times but managed to evade capture until this morning when he was seen by a member of the public in their garden in a residential area close to the wildlife park in the Cairngorms.」

Stephanie Bunyan admitted she had been keeping an eye out open She might discover the monkey, and there he was. “I saw a little sad Macak. Just looking straight in the window at me. We have a lot of wildlife in the garden, but obviously Monkeys he wasn't worried, just interested I suppose looking in. I don't know if you wanted to come in in the warm or not.”

「Staff at the wildlife park are delighted to have him back, Alan Bannon from the Royal Zoological Society said, " It was a relief after a stressful few-days, we sent our drone team and our keepers out and they were able to confirm it was indeed the macaque. He was, I think, helping himself to a bird feeder and once we were able to establish, it was safe to do so. we've got the dark ones and were able to tranquilize them safely, Rebecca Amos, one of the veterinary officers at the park, said Honshu didn't seem to have suffered any ill effects and had recovered from the anesthetic. But she said reintroducing him to the other 36 macaques in the troop would be tricky so that will be done gradually.」
