Oh geez, it's almost a year since my last post.
I am still alive!
I'll just jump into some yard news.
Everything has been blooming
nicely, though the deer like to nibble!🦌

私は まだ げんきに いきています！
それでは、にわの はなしを ちょっと しますね。
どの はなも 
きれいに さいていますが、しかは はっぱや はなを ちょこちょこ たべるのが すきみたいです！🦌
I had just been scattering bird food on the ground and on an old stump, but I bought a couple of bird feeders and set them up today.
So far I haven't seen any birds on the feeders, but I'm keeping an eye out!
🐦いままでは、とりの えさを じめんや ふるい きりかぶの うえに まいていただけでしたが、とりの えさばを ふたつ かって、きょう せっちしました。
いまのところ、えさばに とりが きているのは まだ みていませんが、きをつけて みています！
We saw 3 musicals this year, "Footloose" at a local high school, and "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" and "Mean Girls" in Pittsburgh.
I really enjoyed "Beautiful", it had a lot of good oldies songs.
I also saw the "Legally Blonde" musical with my sister.
ことしは ミュージカルを 3つ みました。ちかくの こうこうで「フットルース」を みて、ピッツバーグでは「ビューティフル：ザ・キャロル・キング・ミュージカル」と「ミーン・ガールズ」を みました。
「ビューティフル」は とても たのしかったです。むかしの いい うたが たくさん はいっていました。
それから、いもうとと いっしょに「キューティ・ブロンド」の ミュージカルも みました。
We've been growing a Queen of the Night for 7.5 years. We started with just a leaf from Gaku's dad.
It's been growing like a beast, but never bloomed.
BUT, it finally bloomed last month!
We were in shock.
The scent is so strong and unique, and the blossoms are truly stunning!
The flowers only last 1 night, but it was spectacular to watch!

すごい いきおいで どんどん そだっていましたが、いちども はなが さきませんでした。
でも、ついに せんげつ、はなが さいたんです！
私たちは びっくりしました。
かおりが とても つよくて、そして とても どくとくです。はなも ほんとうに すばらしく きれいです！
はなは ひとばんしか もちませんが、さいている ところを みるのは すごく すてきでした！
