一先週の金曜日,コロナ禍の為に何度も中断を余儀なくされた後に,めでたく再開催された,こちらの展覧会へ.
この展覧会は,展覧会史上初となる全四巻を揃え,過去に部分的に分かたれた断簡と,原本の欠損された部分を知る事の出来る模本をも取り揃えた特別な展覧会でした.
12世紀の平安時代から13世紀の鎌倉時代に描かれたこの絵巻物からは,当時の人々の慎ましくも心豊かな暮らし振りを伺い知る事が出来,彼らと語り合う様な二時間の時間旅行をする事が出来ました.

NATIONAL TREASUR : FROLICKING ANIMALS @ TOKYO NATIONAL MUSEUM
Last Friday, I went to see this exhibition, which was re-held after being interrupted many times due to the covid-19 disaster. This exhibition is the first in the history of exhibitions in this country, and is a special exhibition that features all four volumes, as well as several scene drawings that have been partially cut and tailored to the hanging scroll in the past, as well as existing copy scrolls that can know the missing parts. This picture scroll, drawn from the Heian period in the 12th century to the Kamakura period in the 13th century, was able to see the modest and enriching lifestyles of the people of the time, and in my mind I was able to travel for about two hours to talk with them. Thank you for the wonderful exhibition.
