My name is tiramisu, and I'm into
indigo dyeing now.
先週、
神奈川県の藤野で
藍について学びました。
I took the 3rd lesson of the indigo dyeing course,
the seeds to dye class 2018,
last week
in Fujino, Kanagawa prefecture.
３回目の昨日は、
蒅づくりに向けて
藍の葉っぱ
をを
手でちぎり、
揉みもみ・・・
そして乾燥させる・・・
こんな過程もあるんだぁ～と
、
初めての体験で
なるほど～と、
学ぶこと盛りだくさん
I learned one of the process of
making sukumo,
dye made of fermented indigo leaves.
It was very interesting to me.
We collected only leaves,
tore them into pieces,
rubbed them,
and
placed them on the floor to dry

私の指！
藍の葉っぱをもんだだけで手が真っ青
My fingers!
My hunds were so blue after rubbing the leaves.
生葉染めも
みんなで行いました。
染めた糸で
何作ろうかな？？？
We dyed threads with fresh indigo leaves.
I want to make something using the threads.
