It has been raining heavily for days in my hometwon.
How's your town?
We have been spending time with full of anxious feeling.
さて、
一昨日は、大阪日本民芸会館
絞り染 「布に咲く花」、
に、行ってきました。
The day before yesterday
I went to Japan Folk Crafts Museum in Osaka
to see tie-dyed textiles
"Blooming Patterns on Textiles"
明治から昭和の
絞り染めの着物の展示
や、
絞り模様のサンプル集とその名前の展示
がありました。
名前からどのように絞るのか
想像しながら・・・
時間を忘れてしまうほど
夢中になって見学しました。
It displayed tie-dyed kimono made
during the Meiji Era- the Showa Era.
There were lots of shibori samples
and each of them had a name tag,
so I was able to figure out how to make the pattern.
I enjoyed it very much so I did not realize the time.
