indigo dyeing now.
今年に入ってから
待ちに待った藍染め
。
日傘とストールを染めました。
I had been looking forward to the day of indigo dyeing.
Finally,
yesterday and this morning,
I dyed a fabric part of a parasol and a stole.

これからの季節
マストアイテムですね。
伝統的な藍色も落ち着きますし、
ギラギラの太陽の光
を
やさしい日差しにかえつつ
紫外線もカットしてくれます
。
A parasol is a must item from now on.
Japanese traditional inigo blue color makes us relax,
and
the indigo dyed fabric has an effect of
UV protection.
It changes the strong sunlight to gentle one.
You feel comfortable under the parasol.

I applied for makiage-shibori
for the design .
ストールは、
プレゼント用
。
麻が少し入っているので
しゃり感があります。
透かし模様が素敵な素材を選んだので、
そのまま染めました。
The stole is for my friend.
It is made of cotton and linen
with a lacey pattern, so it is dry touch.
I dyed it indigo blue without shibori.
2日間で
20回染めました。
あく抜き作業をしたら、完成です。
During two days,
I dyed them 20 times.
They are going to be washed to eliminate lye.
