I feel like that I've just come out of hibernation.
I wonder how long I haven't updated my blog.

昨日は、
待ちに待った
Seeds to dye class 2018
が、神奈川県藤野で始まりました
。
タイトルの通り、
種まきから
すくもづくり、
染めを
これから晩秋にかけて
教えていただくクラスです。
I was looking forward to a new workshop,
"Seeds to dye class 2018," and
it started in Fujino, Kanagawa yesterday.
We are going to grow indigo plants, make indigo compost( SUKUMO),
and dye fabric with the dye using the compost.
座学はクイズで、
面白楽しく行われ、
庭先で
種まき、
木灰から灰汁をとる作業の一部を
体験しました
。
We learned about indigo plants,
planted indigo seeds,
and
experienced to make alkaline water from wood ash.
「すくもを手に入れる事も難しいですが、
まだ作ることはできる。
でも、
木灰を手に入れる事は
とても難しい」
という、先生の言葉が
印象に残りました。
私にも材料を手に入れるすべはあるの？
不安・・・
Sukumo is very difficult to get, but
my instructor told us that it was more difficult to get
qualified wood ash now.
I wonder if I am able to get it when I start to make sukumo.
