My name is tiramisu, and I'm into
indigo dyeing now.
東日本大震災から
8年たってしまいましたね・・・
。
Eight years have passed since
the Great East Japan Earthquake.
当時、いわきに住んでいて
その日は、
次女の中学卒業式でした・・・・
We lived in Iwaki, Fukushima prefecture at that time, and
it was the day for my daughter's graduation ceremony
at her junior high school.
気が付くと
毎年、この日は
家でキャンドル
をともして
少しばかりの時間ですが、
過ごすようになりました。
Without deciding to do so,
I have come to light candles and
spend a moment with watching them every March 11th,
which becomes one of
my family rituals now.
揺らぐ炎をみると、
落ち着きます・・・よね。
炎はそれぞれ全く違う揺らぎ方をするし、
まるで生きているみたい。
A candle flame helps us
to soothe our souls, isn't it?
Every flame has its own way to sway,
and it dances as if it were alive.
キャンドルと言えば、
キャンドルホルダー
最近100円ショップでみつけた
お気に入りがあります。
よく見ると 和柄～
As for a candle holder,
I got some favorite ones at a 100 yen shop.
They have Japanese traditional patterns on them.
One is "shippou pattern" and the other is "Yagasuri pattern."
↑こちらは、
観葉植物用
らしいのですが、
キャンドルホルダーとして使うほうが、
とっても素敵！、
火気厳禁と書かれているから、
LEDキャンドルを使えば、大丈夫～
よく見ると・・・
七宝（左）と矢絣（右）の模様に見えます。
These ones are for plants,
but they can be used for candle holders.
It says don't use near fire,
so I decided to place a LED candle in it.

いつの間にか、暮れていることが多いですが…
So, I hope to have a moment to relax with
candle lights when it gets dark,
althought it was the busiest time in a day.
