今日は藍染めの端切れについて
。
母からもらったのが、たっくさんあるんです。
でも、
絞りをするのは大好きなのですが、
実は、針と糸で何かを作るのは
苦手～
。

Today,
I want to write about indigo dyed fabric scraps.
I got lots of indigo dyed fabric scraps from my mother
because she used to do indigo dyeing for a long time.
I am not good at either sewing nor quilting.
although I like making shibori stitches.
If I were good at quilting, I could create anything using them.
でもね、
もう型にはまらず
、
自由にのびのび、やってみる事にしたんです。
昨年、ジーンズ
のリメイクを
エプロン
にリメイク。
長さも図ることなく
目
分量で切ったり
縫ったり・・。
BORO風に
藍染めの端切れを付けてみたら
あれ？
いい感じ～。
But
I decided to create handmade items unconventionally,
and
last year I upcycled my old jeans and made an apron.
Measuring using my eyes was fun to create it .
Some indigo dyed fabric scraps became nice boro style patches on it.
Wow, I enjoyed this project very much.
その後
バレッタや、シュシュも
つくってみました・・・
。
Later, I made a barrette and scrunchy.
