Thank you for visiting my blog.
My name is tiramisu, and I'm into
indigo dyeing now.
新しいプロジェクト 浴衣、
やり方を聞いて自宅で一人でするとなると
色々わからないことが・・・
I wanted to start my new project ,Yukata,
after learing how to stitch.
But
when it came to the preparation by myself,
lots of questions came up to my mind.
例えば
浴衣
の生地への製図、
途中までかいてみたものの
途中で
不安に・・・
これでよかったのかな～
For example,
I drafted "gangi-shibori" pattern on the fabric halfway through,
then suddenly I became anxious about what I was doing.
縫いはじめと
縫い終わりにつける
当て布の幅は、
3センチでよかったのかな～。
これまた、
不安に・・・。
When I was preparing for the cloth
to attach
to both sides of the fabric for dyeing beautifully,
I suddenly became anxious about the width.
それから、
縫い目の大きさは、
大きいのがいいのかな、小さいほうがいいのかなぁ。
Moreover,
I wondered which ones were more attractive,
long stitches or short stitches.
不安なことだらけでしたが、
昨日の藍染教室で
先生に教えていただき、
やっと、
縫い始める事が出来ました
。
Yesterday I had a shibori lesson, and
all of my questions were resolved.
Finally, I was able to start stitching.
