ちょっと前に
藤野に行ってきました
。
そこで
とっても楽しみにしていた藍染めのワークショップが
あったから
。
I went to Fujino, Kanagawa prefecture
a little while ago.
I went there to join an indigo dyeing workshop
whichI had been looking forward to.
以前から
藤野にはとっても興味があって・・・
きっかけは、３年ほど前に見た
NHK Worldの Begin Japanologyという番組。
カナダから来たブライアンさんという方が
藤野で古民家を買い、
藍染めをしていると
紹介されていていたのです。
当時はそこから遠い場所に住んでいたので
藤野に行くなんて、無理～と思ってた・・・
。
でも
今年横浜に引越しをしたので
行くのが夢ではなくなったのです
I have been interested in Fujino for a long time.
It all started when I saw a TV program,
Begin Japanology on NHK World about three years ago.
Mr. Bryan was introduced as an indigo dyer
coming from Canada who
bought an about 150-year house.
At that time I lived far from there,
but we moved to Yokohama this April.
Visiting Fujino is not a dream.
I was curious about indigo dyeing, Mr. Bryan
and the place where he lives.
そして、ついに
先々月
藤野で蛍絞りのワークショップがある！という情報を
発見
即申し込みをしました。
ブライアンさんが教えるのではないのですが、
藤野で藍染めができるなんて本望
3回のレッスンで
月１回のペースで蛍絞りをします。
And
fainally,
I found information of an indigo dyeing workshop in Fujino
on the internet two months ago,
Although the instractor is not Mr Brayan,
it didn't matter at all.
I applied for it without any hesitation.
The workshop is three-time lessons
which are held once a month.
