Eddie:
Hey, good to see you! How's your training going these days? Are you still working on your stamina?
You:
Hello Eddie! These days, I'm focusing on training my stamina. But I still can't seem to build up my stamina, and it's frustrating.
Eddie:
I see. Building up your stamina takes time. How often are you doing cardio training? And what kind of training are you doing?
You:
I'm focusing on interval training for a two-minute, three-round fight rather than cardio training. I do two minutes of all-out shadow boxing, or I pedal the bike as hard as I can.
Eddie:
That's good. You're training specifically for the fight. But don't go all-out every time. You need some easier days, too. How many rounds can you do before you get really tired?
You:
Well, I guess I can do about five rounds. Is that too few?
Eddie:
Five rounds? That's not bad. But remember, you only have to fight three rounds. The important thing is to make sure you still have energy in the third round.
Eddie:
Do you feel like you slow down a lot in the third round?
