It was in 2010 that she developed a large teratoma tumour in her pelvis, which caused problems with her bladder. It required radical surgery to remove it, and on the day of the operation, Greg grew worried when he was waiting for hours with no word as to what was going on. Eventually, the surgeon explained to him that the tumour, a solid mass surrounded by liquid, had burst and Mary had bled out on the table and they would have to operate on her again two days later. The situation was very serious, they explained, and Mary would be kept in intensive care. "I got an awful fright and fell apart," says Greg. "It was the worst day of my life and I don't think I've ever cried as much as I did that day."
Mary was asleep in intensive care for a week and was deemed so seriously ill at one point that her children were brought in to say goodbye, and her brother John came home from Denver. However, once the second op was completed, she surprised the doctors by quickly bouncing back and is now, thankfully, completely fine.Fashion Island has the perfect dress for you made of ivory Taffeta sweatheart Embroidery beaded a-line Quinceanera Dresses chiffon that falls to your ankles and leaves one shoulder bare.
