How would you describe your style? Rock chick. I like comfort but not at the expense of style – and I don’t do mumsy.

Do you own more high street or designer? I’m a high-street girl. Almost everything I own is from the high street, including jewellery.
What is your favourite high-street store? Do you own anything vintage? There’s a great shop in St Albans called Fleetville Vintage Emporium that I go to sometimes. I wore a lot of vintage clothes in the 80s but it wasn’t called “vintage” then – it was called “buying clothes on the cheap from Oxfam”.
What is your best beauty secret? I’ve inherited good skin from my mother but I’ve noticed a marked improvement since using Dr Hauschka products. I also dip myself into cold water every morning to get my blood rushing. It’s horrible at first but you get used to it. And I’ll never leave the house without an eyebrow pencil and red lipstick.
How much money do you spend on clothes each month? Hardly anything.
