I arrived at home the day before Dragon Boat Day. I couldn’t help being excited to see my little girl. But she was taking a nap. So I was waiting. Then she waked up and saw me, she looked like very excited as me, she gave me a big smile and big hug without any hesitation that’s the best gift for me. I felt so happy that we kept so close even though we had not seen each other for more than one month and a half. She was still so thin, but looked good. She gave too much surprise in the following days, and she was sticking to me everyday.
The biggest surprise is that her speaking ability was greatly improved. She would say everything we adults said to her in her own tone, and what she said always made me laugh out loudly.
One day, we were eating grape together, suddenly, she asked me: can we eat the grape skin? I answer: Yes. She said: but why you peel off the skin and just eat the grape meat? I had to say that you can eat the skin or peel it off, it’s up to you.
When I finished the call conversation with my colleague at one night, she asked me: who did you talk to? I said: a colleague. She said: I want a colleague, too.
She got a white scarf and covered it over the head and said: I am a bride. I asked her: who do you want to marry? She replied by asking me: MAMA, who do you marry? I said: I am married, marry your father. She replied: I want to marry my father, too.
