As of 15 September 2008 to 23 January 2009, i will be away in beijing for an internship in a hotel. Shall post random entries here about my 'adventure' .

We went to macs after silk street! Its somewhat same price lah. (-^□^-) I took a double cheeseburger meal for 19rmb which is about 4 sgd. Fries are a bit weird, coke is fine, burger is the same haha!!
After our orientation training and wireless connection setup, we went to ... SILK STREET. Thats a building opposite silk street~ it shows the time haha
Silk Street isn't really a street. Its a 5 storey+ flea market in a shopping centre. Lala :*:・(￣∀￣)・:*: I bought a few things that are wearable during summer. Charmian, I got your Prada bag bear (the one you have now) for 4sgd ~ I bought robot one haha. Eh and some korean cartoony shirt that says HIP HOP yay and abercrombie long hoodie thingy. Oh yarh and MAC makeup is so cheap! It looks really real, but maybe its fake haha. I bought eyeshadow cause its a must to have it on here. 2sgd nia. ( °д°) Minyu is really good at haggling. Σ＼(￣ｰ￣;) She is a must bring when we go to these kinds of places. She can sha jia from 300+rmb (or more) to less than a 100rmb. Prices can drop from 500rmb to 100rmb ahah.
Yay yesterday after our work we decided to go to Carrefour to get those everyday living things we need like pails, washing powder, snacks etc etc. There's 8 of us so we split up to take taxi. ヽ(;´Д｀)ノ However, both groups didn't arrive at the same Carrefour haha. (-。－；) Eh, taxi fare is damn cheap!!! We paid about sgd$1 each for the ride, which was rather far. When Beijing people say the place is near ... erm ... their definition of near is very different from us.
I bought a lot of rubbish which totaled up to 176RMB haha. Roughly about 30sgd. I bought pillow, san zha, moisturiser, boxer shorts, biscuits for breakfast ... Their breakfast is all oily food so I can't stand it, must buy my own biscuits. HAHA, I bought one with Fahrenheit (飛輪海) on the packaging о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆ I haven't tried them yet heh heh.

We had cheap KFC after shopping at Carrefour. There's a Family Meal which sells at RMB64. CHEAP CHEAP. We split it up so its about 3sgd per person only! Taste quite nice haha!
Gah, we've been here for the 3rd day and whee, there's finally an internet connection (for a limited time usage ...)
On the plane: Cathay Pacific movies were quite horrible haha! I watched Nim's Island but didn't really enjoy it! However, the food was nice -
Muahaha even though the movies were horrible, the radio was good! Got Korean & Japanese radio stream, so of course I was happy!! There was SHINee, SuJu & Wondergirls whee (*^▽^*)
HK Internation Airport is ridiculously big. Getting from one end to the other was @__@ We went through so many travellators .. There was a nice snack shop called Millie's Cookies!! The hot chocolate was super sweet!! They threw marshmallows and whipped cream on top of it OHOHOH (￣▽+￣*)
Dragonair was so much better than expected. It is even better than Cathay Pacific man!! The food was WOAH! They even gave us Haagen Dasz ice cream aaaah! ----------------------------------------------------------------------
OH MAN, the dorm is super cramped up. I'm on the 2nd level of my bunk bed ... but below me is some china girl who doesn't seem that nice lah. The locker is pretty small so just anyhow cramp stuff in and leave the rest of the stuff in the luggage bag. THE SHOWER?!! I didn't take any photos there cause everyone there is like walking around nude lah. Got pretty used to it already ...

Our dorm is just next to the hotel. HOWEVER, the bathroom, canteen etc are all located underground. So we have to go down many carpark slopes, walk through a carpark and then weave our way through this underground maze to reach those places. The food is very salty haha...
