I wonder why many Canadian don't know what kind of cards they use
Every time I ask customers "credit or debit?" when they use a card.
Then many Canadian answer like that "I don't know, it's Visa" or they say with confidence "It's debit" and when they show me their card...it's obivously CREDIT...
Where do their confidence come from
It's so weird. Why they don't know their card...
Besides, They seem like that they don't like small changes
Because they basically use bills or Toonie or Loonie.
"Toonie is like \500, Loonie is like \100 in Japan."
And when I gave them changes back, many of them put it in a donation box
Those are things which I realized while I was working

何でみんな自分が使ってるカードの種類知らないんだろー？
カード社会のカナダはお会計の時に、カードを使う人が多いから、クレジットカードなのかデビットカードなのか聞かなきゃいけないんだけど、多くの人がまさかの、
”どっちかは分かんないけど、VISAだよー” とか、自信満々に”デビットだよ”って言ってカードを見せてくるんだけど、どうみてもクレジットだったり...苦笑
どこからその自信は来るのか...??
デビットとクレジットじゃ全然システム違うし、みんな何を使ってるのか知らないなんて不思議ー！！
他にも、お金関係で言うと、カナダ人はきっと小銭が嫌いなんだと思う。
みんな基本的に紙幣か、日本円でいう５００円玉か１００円玉しか出さない。
私がおつりで小銭を返したら、多くの人はそのまま、募金箱へ～!!
こういうところの感覚の違いっておもしろい！ね？
