Alone

最近見つけたんですけど。

うちの近所にあるアパート。

I found an apartment around my house which has a weird name.

アパート名が「アローン○○」。

○○の所には地名が入ります。

ていうか、アローンって！！！　笑

The apartment's name is Alone **.

** part is a name of the place like Tokyo or Osaka.

Anyway, WTF!?!?

１人暮らしってことを意図したのは十分わかるんですけど、

なんか寂しくない・・・？？

切なくなっちゃう。

I mean, I can understand the person, whoever he/she is, used the word "alone" to mean "a single person house", but it sounds so sad, doesn't it???

I would feel so lonely if I lived there....

そういえば、日本のアパートはヘンな名前がついてること多いな～と思ったついでに

カナダはどうだったんだろう？？と今さら思ってみてます。

私が住んでたバンクーバーのダウンタウンにあるアパートは、

今住所でググッたら名前ついてた！！！

There're so many apartments which have so weird names in Japan, right?

Then, I wonder if apartments in Canada have any names or not. I'd never thought about that.

At least the apartment I lived in Vancouver has a name!!!

I googled the address and knew it for the first time!!

○○　Lodge　と言ったらしい。

全然知らなかったー。　笑

そしてついでに、１９０８年築だったことと（これ、超クール！！）、

部屋の面積が約３０平方メートルだったことも知りました。

The name is ** Lodge.

Well, even though I lived there, I didn't know that at all!!! hahaha

Also, now I know the apartment was built in 1908, which is super cool, and the room I lived in was 321 square feet.
