Cirque du Soleil ~Corteo~

仕事始めたら、毎日仕事の後遊び歩くようになっちゃって全然ブログ更新できてません・・・。

Since I started to work, I went out almost everyday after work, so I hadn't uploaded my blog.

というのはさておき、先週の土曜日にシルク・ドゥ・ソレイユのCorteoっていうショーを観てきました。

Anyway, I went to see Cirque du Soleil's show called Corteo last Saturday.

ご存知の通り、シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユといえばカナダのケベック発祥のサーカスグループ。

日本でも有名ですよね。

日本にいる時に1度彼らのショーを観に行ったことがあって本当に感動して。

だから彼らがバンクーバーで1ヶ月くらいかな、公演するって聞いてこれは行かねば！！と。

As you know, Cirque du Soleil is a circus group from Quebec, Canada and they're famous in Japan.

I'd been to their show once in Japan and I was totally fascinated with it.

So, I heard that they're gonna come to Vancouver for a month or so and I went to see it!!

前に日本で見たショーは西洋と東洋の融合がテーマだったんですよね。

だから衣装とかも東洋寄りだったし、演者さんもアジア人が多かったし。

でも今回はテーマがお葬式で、ちなみにCorteoっていうのがイタリア語か何かで

お葬式って意味らしいんですけど、前に見たショーとは全然違ってました。もっと西洋っぽくて。

まぁ、いずれにしても今回も素晴らしかったんですけどね！！！

The theme of the show which I saw in Japan was the fusion of the West and the East.

That's why their costume was more like the Eastern style and most of people in the show were Asians.

This time, the theme was funeral, Corteo means funeral in Italian or something, and it was very different from the show I saw before.

It was more like the Western style, but it was absolutely amazing as well.

綱渡りとか空中ブランコとかのパフォーマンスはもちろん言うまでもなく素晴らしいのだけど、

衣装とか照明とか音楽とか、その辺も含め全てが本当に素晴らしかったです！

私、シルク・ドゥ・ソレイユの何が好きって、衣装とかそういうもの含め演出が素敵だと思うんですよね。ほんと。

Performances such as the tight rope act or the aerial bar were super cool, of course.

Moreover, the costume, the lighting and the music, everything was so fabulous.

I like their show because it is presented in a really cool way with beautiful costume and so on.

ということで、今回もすっごく素晴らしく、本当に楽しんで帰ってきました！！！

私、絶対ショーの間ずっと口開いてたと思います。　笑

Well, it was sooooo amazing and I really enjoyed it!

I think I kept opened my mouth during the show! Haha
