Yay!! Ikemen guys Yamamoto Yusuke and Takuya Ishida are joining ROOKIES the live-action movie as Nikogaku players combinig with the original casts such as Shirota Yuu, Ichihara Hayato and Koide Kousuke.

Yamamoto Yusuke is said to be playing a player who is aiming for the major league while Takuya Ishida will be playing a gutless beginner player.

The movie is said to be opening in theaters in May 2009. I can't wait!!!

ＴＢＳ系連続ドラマの最終章となる映画「ＲＯＯＫＩＥＳ」（来年５月公開）の新キャストが２日、分かった。二子玉川学園高（ニコガク）野球部に、ジュノン・スーパーボーイ・コンテスト出身の山本裕典（２０）と石田卓也（２１）が入部。イケメンぞろいのニコガク野球部が、即戦力を補強した形だ。山本がメジャーリーグを目指す天才選手の赤星奨志を、石田が根性なしの野球初心者・浜中太陽を演じる。石丸彰彦プロデューサーは「山本は顔、石田は勘で決めた。２人の加入で成功間違いなし！」と説明した。

　監督役の主演佐藤隆太、部員にも市原隼人、小出恵介、城田優、高岡蒼甫らドラマはイケメン人気もあり映画化へと発展した。来年４月に小栗旬らこれもイケメン勢ぞろいの映画「クローズＺＥＲＯ２」を公開する東宝とＴＢＳのタッグチームは、５月公開の「ＲＯＯＫＩＥＳ」と連動してイケメンブームの最盛期をつくる狙いがある。ジュノン・スーパーボーイ出身者の２人は、その切り札として起用された。

　山本は「原作漫画では超いかついキャラクターですが、映画版赤星を自分で作ります」、石田も「中学まで野球もやっていましたし、暑苦しいほど熱い現場だから、燃えてます」と笑った。監督役の佐藤も「新鮮な風が吹いてきた。これ以上ないメンバー」と熱い。そして「キャッチボールは相手の思いが伝わるんですよ」と、グラブを渡し、新たに加わったＲＯＯＫＩＥＳに期待した。

井上真央「引き込まれた」…発行部数６００万部少女漫画映画化

Inoue Mao will be starring in a new movie which another live action movie based on manga-adaptation called "Boku no Hatsukoi no Kimi ni Sasagu" her knight in shining armour in the drama is said to be Masaki Okada.

女優の井上真央（２１）が来秋公開の映画「僕の初恋をキミに捧ぐ」（新城毅彦監督）に主演することが１日、分かった。

　１２巻の発行部数が６００万部を超える同名少女漫画が原作。井上は初恋の相手が病気で２０歳までの命と知りながら、幼いころに交わした結婚の約束を信じて献身的に愛を注ぐ繭（まゆ）を演じる。のちに自分の余命を知り、気持ちとは裏腹に繭を遠ざける逞（タクマ）役に俳優の岡田将生（１９）。

　井上は６月公開の主演映画「花より男子ファイナル」が今年の実写邦画１位の興収７７億円を記録。“花男”では元気な貧乏娘を演じ、セレブ御曹司との恋愛を成就させたが、今作について「原作の切ない恋模様や予想外の展開に、すっかり引き込まれました。愛する人をいちずに思うピュアな気持ちを大切にしながら、精いっぱい演じたい」と意気込む。

　岡田は“月９”ドラマ「太陽と海の教室」や、初主演映画「ホノカアボーイ」（来年３月１４日公開、真田敦監督）、映画「ハルフウェイ」（来年公開、北川悦吏子監督）など話題作が目白押しの注目株。「今まで自分はのびのび生きてきたけど、原作を読んで今この時間を大切に生きたいと思いました」と話している。クランクインは来年３月中旬を予定。

Translation:

The story revolves around the relationship between Mayu (Inoue) and her first love, a young man named Takuma (Masaki Okada ) whom she has known since childhood. Mayu's father is Takuma's cardiologist, and she learns that Takuma may not live much longer past the age of 20 due to his heart condition. When they were 8 years old, Takuma promised to marry Mayu, unaware of his own lifespan. But when he finds out the truth, he tries to distance himself from Mayu in hopes of sparing her the inevitable pain of his death.

Filming is scheduled to start in March, around the time that Inoue is expected to graduate from Meiji University. The completed movie will be released next fall.

Here's a news about my another favorite actress and Ray model Karina! She's been designing wedding dresses! But according to her, right now,, she's more comfortable in designing wedding dresses rather than wearing one herself..

That's ok Karina, I think when you finally decide to wear em, you'll look fabulous! And I hope the guy beside you will be gorgeous too..umm..MatsuJun maybe? ahahaha.. She appeared on a fashion show sowing off her wedding dres design last Thursday.
