I am just helping people who lost their houses.
あらマーカス。違うの。わたしそんな勇気ないし。
家を失った人たちを助けてるだけ。
You mean helping for the medical service or sheltering them?
医療サービスとか避難所の世話？
Not even close.
I volunteered to serve them meals.
それにも程遠いわ。
食事のサービスを買ってでたの。
You mean cooking services ?
Food donations?
それって料理とか食料の寄付とか？
Literary speaking, I am just serving warm meals at the shelter.

Well, you know, the school gives you an extra credit
for community volunteers.

or giving out breads from a fancy basket.

Yes, I think I am.
It might have started with a selfish motive,
but it's now become something meaningful in my life

今は人生で意義のあることに思えるの。
