I'm so glad it didn't rain so hard today because I was invited to go out for Motomachi Gourmet Tour! ( I named it....)
So, me and my friend went to a restaurant to have lunch.
The restaurant name is "MODISH ".
Even though this is located on the ground floor of the hotel, all menus is still reasonable.
It has really good atmosphere and an open kitchen.
I ordered "Today's lunch special" and she ordered "Stew in bread pot".
Tofu was served as an appetizer. Very healthy!
If you order these lunch menus, it includes drink as "all-you-can-drink"style.
But the cups were made of plastic.... I wish they had "glasses", though.
When we were walking around the area, she told me that there was a really beautiful tulip garden in Yokohama park(in front of Yokohama Stadium).
Look at this! Beautiful!
After lunch, we stopped by this Chiyogami store
. I'll write about it later.
Then we found this bakery on Motomachi street.
My friend said bread here is really good.
The name is "Uchiki-pan".
I've heard about this bakery before, but didn't know where it was located exactly.
Then, we went to this cafe for dessert.
The name is "Bluff Cafe MOTOYA".
It was a hard work to get here because this is on top of a hill. We were out of breath when we got here...
BUT!
OH, MY LORD!!
You really need to try these awesome tarts!!
Mine was the strawberry one and hers was the blueberry one!
It is hard to tell how big these are from these pictures, but it is really big!
Icecream can be added as topping.
My friend told me if you add icecream, you can get two scoops!! Very American size!
These tasted sooooooooo wonderful!
Oh, by the way, when I saw the confectioney here, the seals on them looked so familiar.
I asked my friend that she gave this confectionery to the guests at her wedding reception .
She said it was the one.
That was really good, too.
I'm always impressed by what she chooses as presents. She always chooses right ones.
We already made next Motomachi Gourmet Tour plan!!
Lunch at this restaurant and dessert at this cafe.
I'm looking forward to it, my friend!
