This is Tori's writing. I am sometimes asked about the difference between the Hunboldt Penguins and the African Penguins, so today I will write about it. Please see the following two pictures!

違い、見つけられましたか？ 正解は、嘴の付け根の肌の露出部分です。フンボルトペンギンは肌が露出していますが、ケープペンギンは露出していませんね。あと、顔の周りの白い線の太さはフンボルトペンギンは細くて、ケープペンギンは太いです。
Can you find the differnce? The answer is the base of the bill. The Hunboldt Penguin's base is bare, but the African Penguin's isn't. Another point is that the white line around the face. The Hunboldt Penguin's line is narrow and the African Penguin's is bold.
どちらのペンギンも日本では多く見られますが、野生では絶滅が懸念される２種類です。野生動物の保護のために、自分たちのできることをしていきましょう！
We can see both Penguins easily in Japan but the wild ones are concerned to be exterminated. Let's do our best to protect them!!
