"Where do I sign?" the season eight runner-up cracked to reporters following his performance on the season 12 finale.
His return to the stage was one of the highlights of the American Idol season 12 finale. We're talking, of course, about season eight runner-u[ Adam Lambert, who joined top three finalist Angie Miller for an emotional rendition of David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium."
Before heading into Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre, however, the fan favorite stopped to talk to The Hollywood Reporter. On the agenda: judge Randy Jackson's exit from the show and Lambert's thoughts on possibly taking his spot.
Asked if he'd be up for a judgeship on season 13, Lambert told THR, "I would love to..." and later commented to reporters backstage, "If they called me to judge, 'I'd say 'Where do I sign?'"

土曜日の夜、サンフランシスコの第24回 GLAAD Media Awards で、『アメリカン・アイドル』シーズン8の準優勝者でカミングアウトしたゲイであるアダム・ランバートが、「Davidson/Valentini Award」を贈られた。この賞は、平等の権利を得るプロモーションのためにめざましい活躍を見せたメンバーに贈られるものだ。アダムはフランク・オーシャンと共に、優れた音楽アーティストとしても表彰された。

At Saturday night's 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco, "American Idol" Season 8 runner-up and openly gay pop star Adam Lambert was presented with the Davidson/Valentini Award, which is given to a member of the LGBT community who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights. Adam also tied with Frank Ocean in the category of Outstanding Musical Artist.

When picking up his award from the Spice Girls' Mel B, Adam--always a compelling and unfiltered public speaker--gave a humorous but sincere acceptance speech about the trials and tribulations of being an out-and-proud entertainer, admitting that the situation sometimes "drives him f***in' crazy."

それにしてもまったく知らないイベントでしたが、オーストリアのウィーンで行われるAIDSのためのチャリティイベントで、ファンデーション自体はもう20年目になるそうです。

年末恒例のウィーンのニューイヤーコンサートにシルク・ド・ソレイユが加算された感じですねー
ヨーロッパ風の怪しい大道芸も加わってるし！
こういうイベントを見ると、ハリウッド流だけではない、ヨーロッパの芸術の底力を感じますね。

アダムにぴったりの絢爛豪華なイベントですが、それだけではなくて、AIDSのチャリティイベントだということも、アダムらしくてとても良いと思います。

高度成長真っ只中の中国の商業イベントだけじゃなくて、こういった社会的に意義あるイベントにばんばん出て、私みたいに日頃AIDSのことなんて忘れてる人たちを「はっ」とさせてほしいなぁ。

そしてこの曲、ものすごく普遍的でわかりやすそうなので、全曲発表される25日が相当楽しみですね！

The season eight runner-up will team up with this year's frontrunner on the May 16 show closer, a source tells THR.

With the American Idol season 12 finale just over a week away, the lineup for the grandest of results episodes is coming together.
As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, several alums of the Fox show have been asked back, including season three finalist Jennifer Hudson and season eight runner-up Adam Lambert. The former, who despite coming in seventh on the show, won an Oscar in 2006, has yet to commit to the May 16 event, but glam-rocker Lambert, THR has learned, will duet with finalist Angie Miller.
