オバマ大統領は割れ鍋のとじ蓋みたい役割を7年間果たして来ただけで、人種差別という本質的な問題から目をそらすために大統領になっていただけなのである。割れ鍋を使えるようにするためには、蓋(黒人から女性)を取りかえるだけでは意味がない。割れ鍋を修繕できる大統領を選ぶ必要があるのです^ ^
President Obama was sort of a red herring, a lid to a broken pot that would divert attention to the real problem, which held quite well for 7 years. After realizing the real problem, you don't replace the lid with another lid. You fix the pot itself and make the pot work again.
