この映画はとても素敵でした…
（自分なりの感想を記したいトコロなのでネタばれの可能性あり）
映画ではEdward Bloom（TimBurtonの映画,、Ed頻繁だね・・・）の語る人生様々なシーンは、息子Willの回想として主に登場します。 自分が幼い頃より聞かされてきた御伽噺のような話の数々に、真実の父親を見出せないWillは、もうすぐ自分が父親となります、そして病床に倒れたEdと向き合おうとします。
自分の見方、自分自身次第で、
目の前の人生を精一杯、幸せに貫くことができるということを教えてくれてる気がします。
自分の息子に度々語り聞かせる自分の成長・大切な愛する人との出会い・自分を取り巻く人々との出会いなど歩んできた道は、現実と伝えたいメッセージとが混ざり合って そのストーリが聞き手の中でも語り手自身の中でもキラキラとした本当の世界・モノとなるのだろうなっと。
レンタルして観て・・・最後は静かに涙が止まらない感じだったな～
すっごく感動的なコトが起こるとかではないかもしれないけれど
ただただ、温かくて、嬉しくて。
もう何度も観てます!!!

I was thinking about death and all.
About seeing how you're gonna die.
I mean on one end,
if dying was all you thought about, it could kind of screw you up.
But it could kind of help you, couldn't it?!
Because everthing else, you know you could survive.
I guess I'm saying...I'd like to know. Oh, that's how I go.

Well, I suspect it will hurt. A lot. Now, I'm sorry, but well good-bye.

I don't expect to.
青年期のEd：
They say when you meet the love of your life, time stopps.
And that's true. But what they don't tell you was once time starts again,
it moves extra fast to catch up.

現在のEd：
Told you thousands fact . I tell stories

You tell… lies, Dad. You tell amusing lies. ~

You're just as charming, and just as fake.
