あの大震災から２年。いまだ、東京でもあの時の大きな揺れを体験した人の恐怖は記憶に新しいことでしょう。原発問題、復興計画、震災者方の帰宅の目途・・・・まだまだ未解決で前途多難。日本特有の遅々として進まない環境には、被災者達の行きどころのない憤懣でやりきれない思いをしていることでしょう。
それでも、あれほどのダメージを受けた日本なのに、暴力に訴えることもなく、品格を保って前向きに生活を営もうとしている人々が沢山で、その民度の高さには頭が下がる思いです。その姿は世界中の人から高い評価を受け、日本人への尊敬の念が高まっています。同じ日本人として誇りに思い、外国人とのお付き合いの中でも、自分の思慮の足りなさで高い日本人への高い評価を損なわせてはいけない、と責任を持って行動できます。

It's been 2 years since the big earthquake in Japan. We still remember well how frightened when we felt the shaking in Tokyo.
Though Japanese people continue to be positive and supportive, the reality of restoration for afflicted people grows at a sluggish pace. Imagine how frustrated and stressful for afflicted people if they still can't have a normal life and home. It's very touching and proud to see that they live with dignity.
We heard the donation to Red Cross hasn't been delivered to afflicted area / people yet. If you want to support them, the best way is to send donation directly to North Japan.
