TOEFL iBTのスピーキングの解答例をアップします。もっと早くアップしようと思ったのですが、なんやかんやと忙しくて更新が遅れてしまいました。まあ、しかしこうやってアップしておくと、後でいろいろ便利なので、がんばってアップしようと思います。
ところで、問題を作ってて思うのですが、トフル形式のスピーキングはフランス語の会話力＆文法力を伸ばすのに役に立つんじゃないかなと思っています。下の文章を見てもわかるように、トフルスピーキングでは、Iに加えてstudentsやteachersのように、３人称複数で話す機会が多いです。
英語の場合、人称が変わっても動詞の活用はほとんど変わらないのですが、フランス語の場合人称が変わると動詞の活用が変わるので、３人称複数のような日常会話で使わない形を使うというのは非常に大変です。まあ、でも、逆にこういう普段使わない形を使うことで、動詞の活用を強く意識してしゃべれるようになるのではという気もします。
今度出す本は、英語とフランス語を一緒に学ぶという本なので、こういうトフル形式の問題を載せてみるのも面白いかもしれません。ちょっと考えてみようかなと思います。
Some parents choose to home-school their children themselves rather than send them to public schools. In your opinion, which option is in the best interest of the child?

It is generally thought that students go to school to get education. But I don’t agree with this idea because of two reasons. First, students can get better education at home. In a crowded room, teachers have to teach at an average level. However, at home, parents can teach at the level which suits their children. Second, parents can decide which subjects their children have to study. Because parents are responsible for the behavior of their kids, it should be parents who decide what children have to learn. From the reasons stated above, I think parents should home-school their parents.
