有名な権威のある一流雑誌だそうです。その雑誌の細胞などに特化したものだそうです。

イラストは、その研究内容をイラスト化したものです。

「わるい細胞を攻撃する細胞も疲れて弱くなるので、iPS細胞の技術で再生させる」

という内容でです。

（要約は素人の私が勝手にしているものですので、正式でないです；）

全面にいるのが再生した攻撃細胞。奥にいるのが弱体化した細胞です。

張りつめた弦と弓は攻撃性を表しています。

ろうそくは細胞の寿命を表しています。

和のテイストにしたのは、研究して発見してくださった方が日本人というところからです。

On the cover: The cover image is a visual allegory of T cell rejuvenation. The Kanji (Chinese) characters within the patterns of the kimonos that both women wear signify “T cell,” and both women have the same bow, representing the antigen-specific T cell receptor “weapon.” However, they differ in both youthful appearance and the height of the surrounding candles, which represent telomere length. Two papers in this issue from Nishimura et al. (pp. 114–126) and Vizcardo et al. (pp. 31–36) describe the use of reprogramming to iPSCs and redifferentiation to generate rejuvenated populations of antigen-specific T cells as a potential strategy for immune-based therapy for cancer and other diseases.
