Poken as a lowcost RFID Detector, PokenでRFIDを発見
Didier Stevens has discovered that Poken can act to detect a 125 kHz RFID reader hiding about in shops, warehouse and shipping logistics.
The Poken will shine RED when in proximity of a 125 kHz RFID emitter. He says it will not work with a 13.56 Mhz reader, but have not tested the 132 kHz reader yet. Interesting, another great use for the almightily Poken.
By the way, Poken is now available EVERYWHERE in Japan thanks to BicCamera, Yodobashi and many small retailers and eateries. Make sure you get one so you do not get left out in the cold at these cool Tokyo events and gatherings. Going to a SNS physical meeting, no Poken, no You.
