Is a Decision Necessary?

One does not make unnecessary decisions any more than a good surgeon does unnecessary surgery.

その決定は必要か？

不要な決定をしてはいけません。それは優秀な外科医が不要な手術をしないのと同じです。

If the condition is degenerative or life-threatening and
there is something you can do, you do it — fast and radically.

It is a necessary decision despite the risk.

もし状況が、退行性もしくは生命を脅かすものであり、かつ
できることがあれば、やるしかありません。しかも、果断に。

それはリスクを冒してでもやらねばならない決断です。
