夏の始まり-summer start-

こんにちは。今週末は米の配達2件とトマト、キュウリ、メロンの網の設置をビニールハウス内で行いました。

ズッキーニです。生育順調です。

It is zucchini.  It is growing well.

トマトです。発酵肥料を与えた場合は、生育旺盛になってトマトトーンも農薬も要らないです。しかし、このトマトは私の発酵肥料が使い切ってしまったため、牛糞堆肥を入れて育っています。

It is a tomato.  When fermented fertilizer is given, it becomes well grown and neither tomato tone nor pesticides are needed.  However, this tomato has grown with cow manure compost because my fermented fertilizer has been used up.

ナスです。1番花が咲き始めました。

It is eggplant.  The first flower has begun to bloom.

レタスです。日本では下肥えを使わなくなってから、排泄物による病気の蔓延が少なくなったようです。牛糞堆肥は発酵熱で病原菌が死ぬはずなので安全です。

It is lettuce.  In Japan, it seems that the spread of illness due to excrement has decreased since Shimogari was not used.  Cattle manure compost is safe because it should kill pathogens by fermentation heat.

スイカです。昨年は夜盗虫に苗を切られたのですが、今年は輪切りのペットボトルで防御したので大丈夫です。

It is a watermelon.  Last year, I stumped seedlings at night, but this year I am safe because I protected it with a round plastic bottle.

ニンジンです。発酵肥料を与えると、発芽率が悪いニンジンも発芽率が良くなるそうです。

It is a carrot.  Fermented fertilizer will increase the germination rate even for carrots with poor germination rates.

菜の花の鞘です。ビニール袋に入れて種を取りました。この種を今年の秋に撒いて来年の春に再び蕾を取って食べます。

It is a sheath of rape blossoms.  I put the seeds in a plastic bag.  I will sow this species in the fall of this year, and will take it again next spring in the spring.

菜の花の種です。湿気でカビが生えないように、虫に喰われないように保存します。

It is a seed of rape blossoms.  It is stored so as not to be caught by insects so that mold does not grow with moisture.

ブラックベリーです。花蜜を吸いにヒカゲチョウが来ていました。

It is blackberry.  A lizard came for sucking on nectar.

バラの花です。満開です。このバラは農業機械を保管するカーポートの壁面の垣根になってます。

It is a rose flower.  It is in full bloom.  This rose is the barrier of the carport wall that stores agricultural machinery.

じゃがいもです。ハナアブが羽根を休めに葉の上に止まっています。

It's a potato.  A flower bud rests on a leaf resting on a feather.

害虫のニジュウヤホシテントウがいます。普通のテントウムシは害虫のアブラムシを食べますが、このニジュウヤホシテントウだけは野菜の葉を食べます。しかし、今年も私たちはじゃがいもに私の発酵肥料を与えたので、生育旺盛です。ニジュウヤホシテントウに葉を食べられても問題ありません。

There is an insect pest ladybird . Ordinary ladybirds eat the aphids of pests, but only this redhead weevil eats the leaves of vegetables.  However, since we gave my fermented fertilizer to potatoes this year, it is growing well.  There is no problem if you can eat leaves by redhead weevil.

薬草のドクダミです。葉を揉むと毒々しい匂いがします。しかしながら、このドクダミの葉を揉んで臭い液を化膿している患部に付けると殺菌作用により傷の治りが早くなります。日本では雑草扱いですが、大規模災害や新興国の僻地やジャングルに行き薬がない場合は重宝します。

It is a herbal medicine.  When you look at the leaves it smells poisonous.  However, if you apply the odorous fluid to the affected area by scooping the leaves of this boletus, the bactericidal action will accelerate the healing of the wound.  In Japan, it is treated as weeds, but it is useful if you go to a large-scale disaster or in a remote area or jungle of an emerging country without medicine.
