We know you’ve been inundated with emails about the coronavirus, but as a product that ocean enthusiasts globally count on for surfing guidance, we want to give you the take from Surfline. This is a serious pandemic with serious consequences. Everyone should follow CDC guidelines and use common sense about social distancing and hygiene. As the situation rapidly evolves, and those still in surf travel mode ponder the uncertainty, we’d encourage you to review the World Health Organization (WHO) website for up-to-date information – and stay tuned to Surfline for news on the pandemic’s effect on our surf world.

We closed our offices in Huntington Beach on Thursday, March 12th and are not sure when we’ll physically reconvene as a company -- but are hopeful this will pass in the next month or two. That aside, the 88 employees of Surfline, spread throughout the globe, are working remotely 24/7, to provide you with the best content and services possible for you to fulfill your life’s surf mission, whatever that may be. And while surfing takes a backseat to serious matters like national emergencies and family safety, it should never disappear from your life – because, well, surfing helps.

So please be careful, practice good hygiene and exercise common sense about Covid-19, and know we’re here to support your surfing life, from slabs to softies.
