KAZ-SUS EK Civic Airsuspension kit development process.
The airbag adopted this time has a width of 90 mm when there is no air in it, but if the air is maxed out, it will expand to 120 mm. If the airbag is wider than that, EK or EG It cannot be used for Honda models such as Civic and S2000. Therefore, it seems that the airbag adopted this time can be used for those models as well. However, I decided to equip the MP slide type pillow upper mount as standard equipment because it gets close to the airbag and knuckle arm when driving at low vehicle height. Also, I was testing using a 230 mm case for the damper size, but I felt that the drop in vehicle height was not so good, so I added a new damper with a maximum stroke of 110 mm to the 200 mm damper case.
I'm thinking of making it and replacing it.
I'm really looking forward to completing it, but it will take a while.
今回採用したエアーバッグはエアーが入っていない時は横幅90ミリですが，これにエアーをマックス状態にすると120ミリまで拡がってしまいます｡もし横幅がそれ以上広がるようなエアーバッグだとEKやEGシビック,S2000などのホンダ系車種には使えません。なので今回採用したエアバッグならそれらの車種にも使用できそうです。しかし低車高走行する際にエアーバッグとナックルアームに接近してしまうのでMPスライド式ピロアッパーマウントを標準装備することにしました。また，ダンパーサイズは230ミリケースを使用してテストを行なっていましたが、車高の下がりがあまり良くないと感じたので新たに200ミリのダンパーケースにストローク量が最大の110ミリあるダンパーを製作して交換しようと考えています。完成するのがとても楽しみですが､それにはまだもうしばらく時間がかかりそうです。
