Atsuki Yoshida was born in Ogaki city Gifu, which is well known as one of the historical cities in Japan from the Samurai period. His talent as a musician sprouted in anarea surrounded by the lush greenery and pure streams. In 2004, when Atsuki was seventeen, he had his first appearance as a violinist with Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra. After he enrolled in the Tokyo College of Music, he also started performing as a violist and expanded his career as a musician. He graduated the college at the top of his class in 2009.
Atsuki has performed for popular singers and musicians. His career has included studio recordings, TV and movie soundtracks, live performances and Tokyo productions of Broadway musicals, Spring Awakening and West Side Story. Furthermore, he was a concertmaster when he played for West Side Story. Since he possesses a keen sense of rhythm and style, he performs several kinds of music such as jazz, tango, classical, gypsy music, pop music and more. He took part in Creative Strings Workshop held in Columbus, Ohio and immersed himself in playing jazz. His passion for music increases the range of his performing.
No matter what instruments he collaborates with, his music produces joy. He belongs to three musical groups he created and has presented a new style of music. 2V –“double ve” - is a group which collaborated with tap dancer Natsuo Shimizu. GALI×BULI is an ensemble of a contrabass soloist and Atsuki. He also pursues new music as a member of TrioMono, a trio of guitar, flute and viola.
その豊かな音色と鋭いリズム感を生かしジャズ、タンゴ、クラシック、ジプシー、ポップスなどの多方面で注目を集めており、タップダンサー清水夏生率いる"2V -double ve-"、異色の7重奏IRO SEPTET等様々なバンドに参加。
またアメリカに2度渡り、オハイオ州にてCreative Strings Campに参加しジャズヴァイオリンの研鑽を積むなど、演奏表現の幅を広げて続けている。
