A below poem is by Kenji Miyazawa

Translation into English is very poor because I did it. It is a part of my English studies(^O^)

雨にも負けず 風にも負けず
I want to get a perseverance for a force of rain and wind
雪にも夏の暑さにも負けぬ丈夫なからだをもち
Also I should have a strong body that bear a cold of snow and a hot of summer.
慾はなく
I want to become a man who does not has any desire
決して怒らず
and never get angry
いつも静かに笑っている
having been laughing silentiy at any time.
一日に玄米四合と味噌と少しの野菜を食べ
The man would usually eat appropriate amount of rice and miso, a little amount of vegetables
あらゆることを自分を感情に入れずに
and never have anything into nervous mode
よく見聞きし分かり
understaning from a good appropriate perspective and listening
そして忘れず
and never forget them.
野原の松の林の陰の小さな萱ぶきの小屋にいて
The man were usually in a humble hut that is at a back of a pine forest.
東に病気の子供あれば行って看病してやり
The man would go there to nurse sick children if they were in the east.
西に疲れた母あれば行ってその稲の束を負い
The man would shoulder a bunch of rice plants instead of a tired mother if she was in the west.
南に死にそうな人あれば行ってこわがらなくてもいいといい
The man would whisper you who was almost dying that you don't need to be afraid of anything if you was in the south.
北に喧嘩や訴訟があればつまらないからやめろといい
The man would say that you should stop a quarrel and itigation because they are boring things if you was in the north.
日照りの時は涙を流し
The man would cry with you when a dry weather has so long
寒さの夏はおろおろ歩き
The man would walk with you being afraid of a cold summer if summer came with cold weather.
みんなにでくのぼーと呼ばれ
You all name him a useless man.
褒められもせず
The man never be praised
苦にもされず
and never be assumed a nuisance.
そういうものにわたしはなりたい
I want to be such a man.
