Michigan State will wear Nike bronze retro uniform Saturday vs
Michigan State is Clarisonic Classic going back to a retro look for Saturday's game against Georgetown.
Nike unveiled retro uniforms for a Clarisonic Brush Head handful of college basketball teams today, including MSU, Kentucky, Ohio State, Oregon, Syracuse and North Carolina.
"If a uniform makes (players) feel good and it gives me a Clarisonic Opal little more leverage to get after them, I'm cool with that," coach Tom Clarisonic PLUS Izzo told the Lansing State Journal's Chris Solari.
Ohio State will wear its retro uniform Feb. 11 against Clarisonic Opal australia Michigan. The shorts, Nike says, are made of 100% recycled polyester, while the jersey is made of at least 96% recycled polyester, "saving an average of 22 recycled plastic bottles per uniform."
"The 2014 Nike Hyper Elite Dominance uniform celebrates the past and present of seven outstanding programs. The distinct jersey and short combination will be worn in select upcoming games," Nike announced in a press release.
Note: Michigan State's second showdown against rival Michigan, this time at Crisler Center, will tip off at noon Feb.
