I wanted them to have an appreciation for our democratic nation and be thankful for the brave men that risked their lives so that Europe and the U.S. could remain a democracy. last year I visited the beaches of Normandy. These soldiers are the epitome of bravery beyond belief. I took time to visit the American war cemetery at omaha and was left speechless. Had it not been for this courageous rebody of young men, willing to give their lives to fight oppression the world would be a different place right now. Those stricken and laid to rest and those fortunate to have made it through, you're the bravest of the brave. Heroes to the end, I salute you all..
