- 「ものづくり立国」シンポジウム
  日本縦断！「ものづくり立国」シンポジウムに行ってきました。「ものづくり立国」に興味があったというよりは、私の永遠のあこがれ『山口智子』さんを見に行ってきました。40を過ぎたとはおもえない美しさでした。日本テレビで放映された「ゴッホへの旅」の時のエピソードなどを素人なりの目線で話す姿が印象的でした。相変わらず、細くて背が高いですね。写真が撮れず残念です。シンポジウムでは精密機器組み立てにおける、0.001mmの精密さを削るという実演があり職人技のすごさに驚きました。日本人ならではの感性・風土などを大切に守りつつ、さらに発展していきたいですね。

- Volume Logic for Mac iTunes 7.0
  iTunes 7.0になかなか対応していなかったVolume Logicが最新Beta版を公開しました。今のところ7.0で問題なく動作しています。intelMacにも対応しているようです。やはりこれがないと、音のバランスが今一歩ですからね。早めの正規版発売お願いします。iPodにも対応できればベストなのですが。

- 新年にあたって
  さて、本日から仕事始めです。実働は連休明けの9日になるかと思いますが今年は、仕事に遊びに悔いることなく邁進していきたいと思っています。仕事は今年中にステップアップしたいと考えています。仕事も大事なのですが、ここ数年体がなまってきているのでスポーツもがんばります。娘がおぼえ始めたスキーやテニスなども復活させます。ジムにも9月以来いっていないので、まずはジョギングから趣味のCD収集（最近はCD-R作成）も地味に進めます。できれば5.1Mixがきけるサラウンド環境を構築したいです。では、本年もよろしく！

  ご返事が遅くなってしまいました。質問のあったtorrent用のソフトですがDIMEではBit Cometは使用禁止になっています。BitComet以外にもBitLord/BitSpiritも禁止です。BitTornado, ABCを使うようにとサイトには書いてありますが、Azureusも使えます。私の好みはAzureusですかね。他のサイトでは問題なくBitCometが使えます。ちなみに私の環境ではDHT（Distributed Hash Table=分散ハッシュテーブル）を使うと、起動時に不可がかかりネットワーク全体がつながりにくくなります。Azureusの場合はなぜかルーターがパンクしたりします。そのため、普段はDHTを切って使用しています。

  我が家で結婚当初より、生き続けてきた「ちびた」が今朝6：30に他界しました。17歳、人間の年齢に換算すると88歳になるそうです。誰よりも早起きで誰よりも良く寝て誰よりも寒がりで誰よりも暑がりで誰よりも牛乳・チーズ・生クリーム・魚・鶏肉が大好きでした。ゆっくり休んでください。我が息子　ちびた
